Quiche Lorraine

Last night in this Austin winter storm I made a Quiche Lorraine. Although I could have served it on paper plates I set the table with my nicer dishes and made a pretty presentation for dinner. My husband commented how nice the table looked and it was a good dinner. Growing up I never realized all the effort my mama went to having supper around the table. I too realize the importance of this time and savor the conversations and memories that are being made.
