Hannah’s Alabama Bridal Luncheon
On February 15th Hannah had the most beautiful Bridal Luncheon in her hometown Birmingham, Alabama. When I walked in first, I knew to have my phone ready to video her reaction.
The seated beautiful bridal luncheon had a long banquet table with a powder puff pink tablecloth layered with a delicate lace tablecloth on top. The lovely creative flower arrangements were flowers that were colors of Spring pinks, Spring blues, Spring whites, and Spring greens. The candelabras had the perfect pink taper candles too that complimented Hannah’s bridal glow. The coordinating floral bridal blue cloth napkins were the icing on the cake of this dreamy tablescape.
The video of Hannah when she walked in was happiness. All her friends and family greeted her with a warm cheer. Her Baby sister, Lilly Grace had the most beautiful smile on her face watching her Big Sister be surprised.
Many times that day my eyes were filled with happy tears. Hannah was dressed so beautifully. Mama Doris would have loved her Audrey Hepburn style of dress, her dainty lace sling back shoes with bridal blue soles for a special touch, her dangling pearl earrings, her hairstyle that showed her radiant smile, and the darling pearl handbag I gave her for her birthday last year. I just knew she would love to use it for her upcoming bridal events.
Before we ate the delicious lunch, Hannah gave a warm welcome and thanked everyone in the room for helping her to be the lady that she is today. Again my eyes were filled with happy tears.
Hannah told Susan, one of the hostesses weeks before the bridal luncheon that she wanted her mother to say the prayer. Again my eyes were filled with happy tears.
Before I said the prayer, I too had planned to say thank you to our Friends and Family. Both Hannah and my greetings went together like we had practiced them. But we didn’t. Hannah and I pretty much have always been able to complete each other sentences. After our greetings , I will not forget us smiling at each other. I will treasure that priceless moment. Again my eyes were filled with happy tears.
Hannah had two great surprises that day. Her Dad came to see her at the end. One of Hannah’s dear friends took professional pictures of them and of the special luncheon.
Afterwards Hannah’s Prince Charming came in dressed in a handsome blue sport coat with the most gorgeous big bouquet of flowers tied with a petal pink organza ribbon. Again my eyes were filled with happy tears.
Seeing Garrett proudly giving his bride to be the most thoughtful bouquet of flowers was endearing.
At the end they opened many nice gifts and enjoyed every minute. My heart is filled with gratitude because my Hannah was showered with love.
