My oldest daughter and I created this simple caprese salad in a shape of a candy cane. We sliced fresh tomatoes and mozzarella and alternated each ingredient to have the stripe of the candy cane. We also sliced baguette bread and brushed the bread with balsamic, sprinkled garlic salt on top and toasted in the oven. Finally we took fresh rosemary and decorated the edges of my wooden board to give the finishing touch. This dish is delicious and a merry addition to your holiday cooking.
